ASA Pitching Program
ASA has designed an elite pitching program that will be the most effective and sage in the Bay Area. As the Director of Pitching; Nick Pereira has used the new and improved methodolodgy as the backbone for training all ASA pitching instructors. All lessons in the ASAP Program progress from mechanics and arm care to specially pitches and game strategies. Knowing not only how to throw it, but when to throw it, makes a good pitcher great.
Individual lessons cover the same basic mechanics and arm care. But progressioon from fast ball to specialty pitches to game strategy is difficult to maintain without a consistent schedule of lessons. The ASAP program focuses on that progression. ASAPinstructors become pitching coaches because players report on game experiences in a pitching journal and through e-mail. This becomes part of the pitching instruction.
