Year Round 11-14U Teams

ASA announces a change for 11-14U players.  We have designed a balanced year round program that combines game play and conditioning.  Field practices, hitting clinics and bullpens will prepare players for tournament play while conditioning that is focused on speed & agility training with arm care & maintenance,  will build the strength and endurance necessary to avoid injury and to improve basic skills.

January tryouts:  Jan  22 West Valley. 11-12u 11:30-1:30pm. 13-14u 2:00-4:00.

Spring tryouts:   11-12U June 2017   13-14 July 2017

Schedule:

Training Season:

November and December

11-12U Speed/Agility Workout:      Mondays/Wednesdays @ ASA  5:00pm-6:00pm

13-14U Speed/Agility Workout:      Mondays/Wednesdays @ ASA 6:00pm-7:00pm

MS/12U Facility or Field Practice:     Sundays 4:30pm-6:00pm

One tournament a month

Tournament Season:

January – May 

One facility workout per week                                       

One field workout per week

Speed/Agility workout on Mondays

Two tournaments per month

June

11 & 12 U OFF on the schedule if playing in All Stars

13 & 14 maintain schedule to prepare for the Road to Omaha June 20-22 during College World Series

July

11’s and 12’s Back on Regular Monthly Schedule

13’s and 14’s Tryouts & Boot Camp Only

OFF on the monthly schedule

August-End of October

One facility workout per week

One field workout per week

One Arm maintenance & Offensive skill session per week on Mondays
