Ben Martin

Facility Instructor: Hitting, Fielding, and Catching
Ben has been with the company since its inception in 2006. As Program Director he has the responsibility of planning and managing all specialty and facility programs including camps, clinics, and the busy community league instructional program. He uses that talent for planning and execution in his Head Coaching Job where he took his original ASA Warriors team from 10U to 17U He handed them over to Joe Gerber and the college placement program. Many of them are now playing college baseball.
Ben played centerfield locally at Pioneer High School in San Jose where he was a First Team All-League Selection all 4 years and then at Mission College in Santa Clara under Head Coach Todd Eagen. After moving back from San Diego State University (Kinesiology), Ben worked as a personal trainer, elementary school P.E. teacher and coached at both Pioneer and Los Gatos High Schools before coming to ASA. Ben has had a great deal of success coaching elite level travel ball and is considered one of the best hitting instructors in the Bay Area!
