Nick came to ASA in 2009 as an assistant coach and quickly became an integral part of the company. Nick is a highly organized, self-motivated person that has gained an unprecedented amount of knowledge over his years as a professional ball player. Using this knowledge and reviewing current literature on arm health, Nick designed and implemented the Elite Velocity Pitching program.
Because of the demands of a young family, in May of 2015, Nick left ASA full time to pursue a career in business. He will remain a consultant for ASA.
Nick played locally at Cupertino High School where he earned First Team All-League honors 2 years as a shortstop. He then attended De Anza Junior College for 2 years. In his second year there he decided to make the change to pitcher and earned a scholarship to the University of San Francisco. Nick was then chosen by the San Francisco Giants in the 10th round of the 2005 draft. In 2006, Nick was selected to the California League All-Star Team and was asked to represent the San Francisco Giants in the Futures Game in Pittsburg. Nick spent five years in professional baseball, two of them in Triple A Fresno.
